Late Work Policy: I will not accept late work. If you do not have the assignment completed on the day and at the time that I call for it, you will receive a 0 for that assignment. My hope is that you will learn to think ahead and be prepared for class. This is an important life skill and I hope to reinforce it in my class.

I am going to do all that I can to help you be successful in this class. I will update my blog daily. Everyday I will post the homework assignment or I will post that there was no homework for today. You can find my blog at this address http://zwiershomework.blogspot.com/ or you can access it through the Rehoboth website.

If you are sick and miss class on a day where an assignment is collected, when you return to school you will have one day for every day you were absent to complete and turn in the missing work. (Example: you are absent Monday and come back on Tuesday, the assignment is due Wednesday) If you are absent on a day we have a portfolio check, you will need to have your portfolio ready the day you return to school.
I realize there are emergencies that occur and you might not be able to complete the assignment. If this is the case, you must talk to me BEFORE class begins. If I decide your reason for not completing the assignment is valid, we will decide on an extension. My reminder is that you need to talk to me before class and not during or after. If you wait until during or after, it will count as missing work.
